To assist manufacturers experiencing ongoing shortages of qualified CNC machinists, we were engaged to assess existing employees and identify individuals with the aptitude and potential to succeed in customized CNC training. Following the assessment process, we developed and delivered targeted training programs tailored to each department’s operational requirements. Training included CNC theory, workplace safety, introductory milling and machining, basic machine setup and operation, turning center setup, and introductory programming. Instruction was delivered directly on the employer’s specific equipment to ensure practical, job-ready skills development. To minimize disruption to production schedules, training was conducted during evenings and weekends, providing flexible access for both employers and employees while supporting workforce development and retention.
