Our President Anne Thomson is a passionate and dedicated driven professional with over 20 years of experience working with industry leaders, government and individuals to close critical skill gaps. Her work with a variety of sectors has proven that developing talent is a critical strategy for building a highly skilled workforce that has helped them thrive.
For individuals, helping them earn their Red Seal certification offers greater employment security, mobility and increased wages.
As the daughter of a tradesperson, she also understood the need for skilled labor as her father’s business struggled to find capable workers.
In 2005, Anne founded Thomson Training Solutions. Her goal was to bring together the very best educators with adult learners who are determined to achieve certification and build careers in high-demand occupations. Most of the hundreds of learners that TTS has helped achieve success were not sequential learners. Many struggle in school. Our average age of student is approx 42 yearsold.

Every TTS instructor is a specialist with expertise in adult learning. All have recent or present experience working in the areas they teach. Everyone on the TTS team embraces life-long learning. Anne states that we know many of our students have not had positive classroom learning experiences and may find the idea of learning a bit over whelming. We offer a respectful, encouraging approach that builds on student’s strengths – making every goal an achievable one.
